Does ANY frozen pizza really taste like delivery?!

Question:

Does ANY frozen pizza really taste like delivery?

those comercials really kill me cause I havent ever tasted a frozen pizza I really liked

Answers:
NO! They never cook right, the middle is always not quite finished and the edges are too brown for my liking...

As for someone who said pizza hut or domino's is real pizza...obviously hasn't had pizza from a mom and pop pizza joint... OR real new york style pizza... YUMMY!!!

Buy pizza base only and add ur fav ingredients like, loads of cheese, mushrooms, onion, tomato, olive, pineapple, chilli, salami..................

California pizza Kitchen is closest I have tasted, i like the Garlic Chicken one alot.

No, when I want pizza I want real pizza like Pizza Hut and Dominoe's.. frozen pizza..YUCK!

Freschetta...Supreme!

Try Tony's Pizza... get the 4 cheese one and your own veggies on top.....YYYYYUUUUUMMMMMMMMMYY

Yeah, actually many are good enough espeically thin crust. I think it's because the freezer would dehydrate the dough, so thin crust do not get affected as much.
Some non-brand local pizza delivery can be really bad. The one my office orders... the pizza isn't even circular!

NO, I too am still waiting for that magical day where after I I'm done waiting 20 minutes to cook my $5 frozen pizza that it actually tastes like a delivery pizza, but each time I find myself saying I should of just spent $5 on some dominoes and tipped the driver a dollar (a 20% tip). So for an extra dollar you get a pizza that tastes like a delivery pizza. Although it is a good marketing concept to tell people your pizza tastes like delivery....its just not a true one.

Yes the best frozen pizzas is digiorno pizza but its only the best if u put it in the oven....

Honestly no....

no i can pretty much tell its frozen and made at home because its not so nice and fresh tasting and authentic ingredients like fresh dough and such cheese sauce and toppings

The quick answer to your question is no. I find that the freezing process necessary to get frozen pizza to its correct temperature seems to affect the cheese-it's not as melty and stringy.

However, there is one brand which I bank on when I don't feel like cooking or paying someone to deliver. Red Barron is the best of frozen pizza that I have come across. The sauce and crust are really good. The quality of the cheese, post cooking, leaves something to be desired.
