Should grape tomatos be stored at room temp or in the fridge?!

Question:

Should grape tomatos be stored at room temp or in the fridge?

Answers:
You should *never* put any kind of tomato in the fridge. The cold shuts down a naturally occuring flavor compound (called (Z)-3-dexenal) that can never be brought back.

Keep 'em on the counter, preferrably in some kind of vessell that allows for constant, even air movement. Having them piled on top of one another with no circulation will lead to faster rotting.

In the fridge in a plastic baggie.

Store them at room temperature

All type of tomatoes should be stored in room temperature.

fridge

Either way, although I think they will last a little longer in the fridge.

if you want them to last longer.......store then in the fridge

in the fridge...otherwise, they will become rotten.

all tomatoes lose a lot of flavour when refrigerated. If you want the good taste, don't throw them in the fridge.

Where are they stored in the store?
A cool dry space.

fridge. they will go mahoo otherwise...

Ideally room temp, but this way they go bad pretty quickly. So if you're not using them very soon, store in the fridge.

Store at room temperature only. Check the label on the packages and that is what it says.
