It would of probobly been a great recipe, but i goofed it and i thought it said 1 1/2 CUP not teaspoon of powdered sugar, lol oops :)

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup walnuts (optional)
6 tablespoons butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 eggs
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
DIRECTIONS
Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
Melt 1 cup of chocolate chips over low heat. Cream butter and sugar. Add melted chocolate chips and vanilla; beat in eggs; add flour mixture and remaining chocolate chips.
Wrap in plastic and freeze until firm (about 20 minutes).
Make small balls (1 inch); roll in confectioners' sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Cool on wire rack.

3/4 cup granulated [white] sugar

3/4 cup packed brown sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 eggs

2 cups (12-ounce package) NESTLE TOLL HOUSE Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels

1 cup chopped nuts

COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in large mixer bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition; gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

BAKE in preheated 375-degree [Fahrenheit] oven for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely

make these yummy sugar cookies then frost them. use:
1 cup sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
1/4 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
1 egg
2 1/4 cups flour


1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Beat sugar and butter in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla, nutmeg and egg. Gradually stir in flour until well mixed.

2. Shape dough by teaspoonfuls into balls. Place about 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. Press dough gently with bottom of lightly floured, flat-bottomed glass. Cookie should be about 1/4-inch thick.

3. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are just golden brown. Cool on baking sheets 1 minute. Remove to wire racks; cool completely then frost. good luck!
