Question:

What's that vegetable that looks like miniature lettuce?

LOL i can't remember the name?

Answers:
Brussels sprouts.

brussel sprouts

I believe it's Brussel Sprouts. We cook them with lots of butter.

I think you may be referring to brussel sprouts. I think of them as looking like mini-cabbages...probably because their texture and taste is more similar to cabbage than lettuce. However, whether they look like lettuce or cabbages, I simply *adore* them!!! Plain or fancy, I'll put them on my plate any day.

BRUSSEL SPROUTS!!!! AND THEY ARE GOOD BOILED
IN WATER W/ BUTTER AND A LITTLE BIT OF SALT.

brussel sprouts ..it may look like lettuce but it packs a much larger wallop as far as taste goes . I like to cut them in half and coat them in a light olive oil and minced garlic . Don't forget salt and fresh cracked pepper to taste ......roast at 350 degrees in a preheated oven stirring once in twenty five to thirty minutes.... Yum

No problem ,its Brussels sprouts ,does that ring a bell ? to me they have always looked like tiny cabbages ,i love to see them on the plant, sitting all in a row.
