shoyu chicken
you can make it with cheap chicken cuts preferably bone in
just put the chicken in a pot and put some water and shoyu and a few cuts of ginger, a little brown sugar and some all spice, you can put some green onion, and a few pieces of star anise then just boil it all together till it's cooked, and tender.
if you make rice you need to get calrose rice cause that long grain stuff just doesn't cut it, rice should be sticky.
