Why does it say "Do not mix with alcohol." on energy drink cans?!

Question:

Why does it say "Do not mix with alcohol." on energy drink cans?

Answers:
Perhaps we could ask that of the late Marilyn Monroe, who allegedly mixed uppers (energy drink) with downers (alcohol).

Can you imagine what you are doing to your body? Speeding it up so you can crash it?

that's because alcohol is a depressant and energy drinks, obviously, are stimulants. taking both at once is hard on your heart cause you're essentially trying to speed it up and slow it down at the same time.

its kinda like having your foot on the accelerator and the brakes at the same time: generally not the best idea.

honestly tho, its not a serious health risk unless you have a history of heart problems.

p.s. jager bombs are delicious.

Because they don't want you to mix it with alcohol. It will spontaneously combust.

you can once mix them then u'll find out why they recomend not to mix them!!!

Because the makers of the energy drinks don't want to be held liable for a very awake intoxicated person's actions. Blah i say Drink up and have fun. Just be responsible!

Redbull w/ Vodka tastes awesome. never saw the warning sign.

has never affected me or other friends.

go for it. alcohol is an upper for me. not a downer.

i dunno but i always do it LOL
red bull and vodka yummmm

Cuz it will cause you to pass out or with a tag on your toe, in someone's funeral home

Energy drinks are suppressants & alcohol drinks are depressants.
