How does this sound...?!

Question:

How does this sound...?

For dinner...

baked chicken, brocolli, mac n cheese and probley baked potatoes. is this a good dinner or what?

Answers:
I grew up with my mom saying..."no we can't have both corn AND bread, its too much starch! No rice AND potatoes..too much starch!"

So now that I'm an adult I enjoy making my meals with both mac and cheese AND potatoes...................No one ever complains about there being too much food!

I would prolly leave off either the mac n cheese or the tater... too much starch

Sounds good to me!

All of it sounds good but I wouldnt do the potato or mac n cheese too many carbs for me.

I agree with Bob . You need to either lose the potatoes or lose the mac&cheese. You have a starch overload there. But how about a side salad or some apple sauce?

I agree with everyone else. Too much starch. I would add another veggie or salad and leave off the baked potato.

Baked Chicken and Mac and cheese is a classical combination. But to avoid starch overkill and carbohydrate saturation I would add a veggie, something like corn or bgeen beans or if down home style i would make some collered greens . A good spinache salad with a hot dressing over it would mix well too. A nice hot dressing for it would be easy , dice some bacon and brown it off remove bacon fron pot and att a touch of mustard and a touch of honey and a touch of vinegar and when ready to serve salad drizzle mixed dressing over then garnish with the bacon pieces.

Sounds good, but a baked potato and and Mac and cheese is a lot of carbs for one meal, especially dinner. Just my thought though

you need more veggies!

why dont you use elbow macaroni and add carrots and corn or peas and stew it all together but dont stew the potatoes if you bake them or you can cut them up and put them in the stew use tomatoes and cut up the chicken and fry it and you'll need to cut up the carrots that sounds good

it sounds to me american - don't have time, don't love life.
Well once in Spain Henry Ford said : "We have more money, but the Spanish understand to live."
Ask your Grandma if that is good. She will look at the guy. And if she says yea, cook it and he will never return. And your Grandma thinks : "that 's what I wanted"
