Price of bottled water should be boycotted?!

Question:

Price of bottled water should be boycotted?

Answers:
Right.....boycott bottled water, and yet pay $4 at the pump for gas!

If you don't buy it...the price will come down. Also, a good water filter system for your home will give you just as good as the bottled kind...for much less.

yeah its getting expensive

I buy it on my way to the office every morning, it is ridiculous.

You know...I work for a soft drink distributor and about 8-10 years ago we started carrying bottled water in 20 oz. and I thought "Who in the hell will buy bottled water?". Good thing that I don't make the 'big' decisions because its our most profitable package. Now we carry 3 brands of bottled water (Deja Blue, Fiji & Smart Water) in several sizes/packages. I still think its freakin' crazy to buy it when you can bottle it yourself at home.

Absolutely
too many fools have taken ten cent water to $.99 +crv+tax.
and coffee to $4.00.

I got a 24 pack of 12oz water bottles for 2.00$ last weekend.

A lot of the bottled water sold in the United States is repackaged municipal water, i.e., what you get out of the tap with a little cursory "treatment". Seriously, how hard is it to fill up the bottle yourself? Why are people dumb enough to pay for a product that they can get for free in their own kitchen?

Well, bottled water shouldn't be like tap water. A part of it is and that is a scheme to make money for nothing, but if you buy spring water it is pure. I wouldn't drink tap water or bottled tap water because there is stuff inside that hurts your body, and your kidneys are more likely to suffer. Buy spring water (it is pure because it is filtered by the mountain itself and what nature does does best). If you have the money try a mineral bottled water(European recommended). Those water have specific tastes and are great for recovering minerals lost during hot days.

Or lower the prices. We should have to pay for only the plastic bottle and delivery to the stores.
