How long will a sandwich keep in the fridge?!

Question:

How long will a sandwich keep in the fridge?

I was thinking of making my lunches for the week ahead of time. So if I make five sandwiches, put them in baggies, and store them in the fridge, how long will they keep?

Answers:
mmmmm, if you put dressings on it like mayo & mustard, then stuff like lettuce & tomatoes which are "water" then you'll have soggy sandwiches. what i would do is just put the ingredients, the night before, in baggies, and then take it all to work (or whatever) and fix them there. or if you have a fridge at work (or where ever) then keep the fixings there. that would be easier.

You might not want to do that. The bread will get soggy, and they wont taste very good...Sorry I cant help much!

=]

they will taste terrible this is not a good idea

It depends on the meat you use. If you open a bag of ham, it should last a week. If you used deli or cooked meat, maybe it's good for 2-3 days. Other than that, hope you don't mind the moisture in the bread.

A day tops is best after that the bread gets real cold and gooey especially if there is tomatoes and mustard or letuce it makes the sandwitch soggy.
