Target has these extremely cripy, tasty, salt and vinegar chips. They also come in lightly salted, salt and pepper, etc.. But they are SO CRUNCHY and so delicious!

Ruffles, Sour Cream and Cheddar Cheese
SunChips, orignial Flavor
I am a huge potato chip fan.....The best I have tasted are Mrs. Vicki's Jalepeno, Dirty Potato Chips any of their flavors and Tim's Cascade any of their flavors too. Tims Cascades are very different and good. They have Cony Island Hot Dog flavor, Dill Pickle, Hot Wasabi.....sounds strange but they taste good.

Lays ready salted are beautifully light and crispy. We call them Walkers in britain. If you haven't been to the UK before, then I urge you to do so-it's a chip-lover's paradise. You can get flavours like ham & mustard and chargrilled steak. My favourite are hancooked chips such as Kettle in cracked black pepper flavour. An open bag is an empty bag...
You can stay at my house when you visit, if you don't mind bunk-beds!

Kettle chips brand new york cheddar. Not only are they the best they are also organic.
it's a toss up between lay's sour cream and chive and lay's salt and vinegar. i could eat a whole bag of either one!
Lays Original potato chips,no one can eat just one.....
Okay, going to assume taste & texture only, not how healthy they are for you: Sterzing's Potato Chips, hands down. They're made in Burlington, Iowa, so may not be available outside the mid-west, sad for all non-midwesterners. Other than that, if I can't find Sterzing's, Kitchen Cooked runs a close second. No additional flavors, just good, old potato chips!
The UTZ brand is an excellent choice if you don't want to consume a lot of sodium. Their Wavy or Ripple flavors are the best plain potato chips.
If you like sea salt and black pepper, then Dirty's is the brand for you. They also make an excellent barbe que chip.
For the best in onion and garlic then I would say that Wise is the best brand.
