Good dark chocolate?!

Question:

Good dark chocolate?

my teacher really likes good dark chocolate, especially european chocolates. where is a good but reasonable place to get tasty dark chocolate?

Answers:
trader joes
cost plus
try perugina brand

Dove dark chocolate is the best! Dunno about European dark chocolate tho.

go to either Trader Joes, Wild Oats or Whole Foods, or a store like it. they have quality dark chocolates. don't buy crap american dark chocolate mady by hershey's or whatever.

Godiva.

if you live anywhere in annapolis, a little irish shop sells some european goods.

the chocolate is FANTASTIC.

i swear you havnt eaten chocolate till youve been to london.

but if not, dairy milk is european and they are starting to sell it places.

dove chocolate is good as well as dove dark chocolate caramel treasures. but dont keep them b/c youll eat them all- i almost did.

godivas chocolate is very good aswell and more affordable.

some really good american chocolate is girhadelli. its good but not for your wallet.

you can always look up dealers who sell dark chocolate but i would go with either a well known brand or home made. homemade takes long but is so good.

hope it helps!!

(consider for best answer?!) thanks!

I've never had "good dark chocolate", I think they're all NASTY!

Where do you live? I've bought some great dark chocolate and truffles from Equita in Lawrenceville, Pittsburgh or at Mon Ami's (Some name like that) in the Strip District, Pittsburgh. Moni Ami's has wonderful chcolates and even some truffles made by the Chocolatier to one of the recent Presidents of USA.

One thing to look for in dark chocolate is the cocoa content. It should be over 70%.

Wittakers dark chocolate. Probably available at candy stores that sell stuff from New Zealand

Hersheys, I've heard people have had European chocolate and hersheys and Hersheys wins hands down!

Fauchon - they have awesome dark chocolate! It is a store from France, but they have a shop in nyc. You can also purchase items from their website. Here's the link:

Your teacher has good taste. Dark chocolate is divine. There are lots of places to get good dark chocolate online. The question really is what is "reasonable" to you. I assume you are still in school, hence the teacher, so you probably don't have a lot to spend. If you are looking to buy dark chocolate, check http://www.chocolate-candy-mall.com/dark... but you may want to consider making some yourself. It really isn't that hard, and your teacher would probably really enjoy it, even if it isn't European. There are some good recipes at http://www.chocolate-candy-mall.com/dark...

I do a bit of teaching myself, and I would love a chocolate treat of any sort.

Hope this helps.
