Is eating raw potato bad for you?!

Question:

Is eating raw potato bad for you?

Answers:
Not at all. Raw potato is nutritious, but not as digestible as cooked potato. There is only one thing to watch for: the green part. If a potato is left in the light, a green layer is formed just below the skin. This layer contains an alkaloid poison. Potatoes and tomatoes are in the nightshade family and the leaves and vines contain the alkaloid as well. If you find the green layer, just cut it off and eat the rest.

no it good for you but you might want to wash it.

No, it's not bad for you, but it might make you a little queasy :-(

it can be but the eyes (little black dots) are really the poisonous part

eating raw potatoes are not bad for you,if you eat them responsibly, just like all things moderation is the key.

When cooking vegetables, (potatoes), You actually lose some of the nutritional value, So raw potatoes or any other vegetable are much better for you. Just make sure you wash them first.

its just like eating any other raw vegitable, like carrots or cellory. in other undeveloped countries they eat potatoes and sweet potatoes raw. just be sure that the potato it ripe. it could give you a stomach ache if not. if it has a dark area cut it off. that area could be simply bruised or it could have had a bug attack the area.
