Why does Kellogg's Pops come in a different bag than all the other cereals?!

Question:

Why does Kellogg's Pops come in a different bag than all the other cereals?

...branching outside of boring adult cereal, I went back to a classic.

I just wondered why Pops is packaged in a silver bag as opposed to the opaque plastic-like bags the other common cereals have.

Answers:
Because of the cereal's make up it absorbs a lot more moisture than other cereals. If it does this, it will all stick together. Those opaque plastic bags are microscopically porous which lets in moisture, but the "metal" bags are not. Just make sure you really seal the metal bags, perhaps with a clip or really fold it over several times. Better yet, put the cereal in an airtight container.

it's oily.

I am thinking maybe it has to do with the coating on the outside of the cereal and maybe keeping moisture in or out? Not sure and I am very curious myself. I couldn't find the answer anywhere. I know that both Corn Pops and Sugar Smacks both used to have the silver lining. I think a few other cereals did too. I think I may write to the complany and ask myself.

i've always wondered that btw corn pops r yummyfulness!
