Is the drink "Tab" marketed to women?!

Question:

Is the drink "Tab" marketed to women?

Answers:
I think so, considering its in a pink can and is low calorie.

=]

Now that you asked , I think it is geared for women.

nah, real men drink from pink cans.

Haha, all the guys at my friend's high school drink Tab because they think it's "scene".

Other than that, I've not really seen anyone drinking Tab too often.

it always has been

most diet drinks up until the 80s were aimed at the more diet conscious which in general are women, in the USA it was considered a bit effeminate for a man to be on a diet then as men started taking care of themselves dieting, exercising in the gym etc the names of the drinks changed from "diet" to "light" to make them more acceptable to the male market thus in the USA the launch of the product "coca cola light" which became popular for men to drink as well as women , in England all diet drinks still say diet such as "diet coke" for some reason we don't have hang ups about people thinking we are effeminate and a lot of English people drink diet drinks because they prefer the taste not because it's lower in calories, as for "Tab" well a pink can does suggest that its more for the ladies but then there is the energy drink "Pink fish" which is in a pink can and here in Spain is sold in bars as an alternative to "Red bull" and is more popular but i think that's because it's a lot cheaper
