Custard dessert is good, but what makes it great is if someone brulee's the top and causes it to caramelize. Then Custard is freakin' awesome.
I LOVE flan which is a variety of custard dessert. Usually I can enjoy it at Mexican restaurants, but there are instant mixes you can buy that vary in taste.

I love custard dessert. Of all types... brulee or non-brulee.
I can go into Marie Calender's (a famous pie restaurant that also serves other food) and order plain old custard pie and be the happiest camper on the block. The rest of you can have all the fancy flavors -- ha! that leaves more custard for me!!
