Does green pepper taste different than red or yellow pepper?!

Question:

Does green pepper taste different than red or yellow pepper?

Answers:
Yes it does. The green are not bitter or anything but their not sweet like the yellow or red or orange peppers. The yellow and red bell peppers (I'm assuming your talking about the Bell Peppers) are sweet. The Orange one's are very very sweet, and yellow are sweet but but not quite as sweet as the Orange, and the red I think are the sweetest of them all. Their really good just sliced up and eat them raw - yummy.

Just from person knowledge.

No but it sure looks different on the way out.

Yes, they definitely have different tastes. Hard to describe the difference, but the green ones are stronger flavor, the red and yellow are milder and sweeter.

yes.
otherwise you could pick them from a pile of peppers of all colors

well the red peppers are hot but the green ones are okay but lm not sure about the yellow ones.. l never bought the yellow ones yet

reds and yellows are sweeter

Yes. If you're talking about green bell peppers, they're a little bit on the bitter side, while red and yellow bell peppers are more on the sweet side.

Green chili peppers tend to be hotter than red or yellow chili peppers.

all peppers are green when growing but farmers pick them early becouse they need to get them to markt and most people prefur the green to yellow or red . red and yellow peppers are just a little milder thats it biotch

Green peppers are literally "green"--that is to say, if you have a plant full of green peppers and you leave them on the vine, they will turn red, yellow or orange. The colored peppers are ripened and, as a result, they are sweeter and have less "bite" than a green pepper. Colored peppers also have a shorter storage life, because they are further along in the life cycle of the edible seed pod.

Yes they do taste different, the yellow ones taste a bit sweet, the red ones are a little hot. They add color and flavor to just about any dish, I like to add them to fajitas, or pastas.

totally!!! yellows are sweeter then red but they are both completely different then green!!!

Assuming you are refering only to Bell Peppers, then yes. Red pepper are slightly sweeter than green peppers. Yellow pepers are much sweeter than either greens or reds. Orange peppers are between yellows and reds. Also, the sweeter the pepper, the more mellow the taste.

Peter Piper Picked a Pack of Pickled Peppers, If peter piper picked a pack of pickled peppers..how many pickled peppers did Peter Piper Pick????? and did he pick Green Red or Yellow?
Yes they do taste slightyly different....more sweetness from the red and yellow* :)

Yes, Green peppers are somewhat bitter red are very sweet and yellow are mild and they are all good!

Red are a bit sweeter (they are ripe green peppers). The yellow I don't find any different than the green.
