anyone remember good old bob big boy restaraunts...now, there aren't too many left except for in CA and a few scattered here and there???man, i loved that place!! and i got so much antique stuff from there too!!!

When I was a little girl there was a Bob's Big Boy down the street from us in Long Beach, California and we used to go eat there once a week. I always got the Bob's Burger Combo and a chocolate shake. I loved the stainless steel container the shakes came in. Oh how I long for the good old 1970's.

Heck yes I remember...it also was called French's big boy in places like Dayton ohio. Now its just big boy...I also remember that it was a car hop place too. Now I am in Cleveland, ohio and I know of one place in Cleveland...I really miss the good old car hops & big boy
I worked in one for 5 years in the early 80's. They also ran in other names such as Frish's and Elias Brothes Big Boy. The recipe's and menus were just a little different. Bob's big boy was run by Marriott Corp. Same as the hotels. Before they were Bob's here in Ohio they were Manners Big Boy.
Back in the early 80's my brother-in-law and his buddies stole the statue from in front of the restaurant and hauled it up onto the top of the library at the university. What a bunch of goofballs!
