What's the best thing to do with used cooking oil?!

Question:

What's the best thing to do with used cooking oil?

Answers:
I gather you don't want to just throw it in the trash, so you might want to check out what kind of recycling is available in your area. I've heard of places that will actually buy the oil from you and reuse it somehow.

Pour it in the frying pan and throw some chicken on it.

save it by filtering and then put it in a old container.. it is reusuable

You can reuse it if you are frying something like corn chips..save it and use it again but only for more corn chips! you'll have to keep it in a jar in the fridge, too! Don't save anything that you cook meat in ..... although if you want to save chix or bacon grease, you can freeze it!...
If you are asking how to dispose of it, then just put it in a coffee can and keep it in the freezer unitl the can fills up...then toss it!...

Drain it really well, then put it in a jar for later use!

If you mean to dispose of it then use old bread, flour or other dry ingredients to sop up the liquid then place it in double paper bags in your compost bin. (Or if your refuse company doesn't have a compost service then use plastic bags and place it in the garbage.)

That's really the only use for small amounts of used cooking oil. Commercial users often recycle for fuel but you need to have a lot to make it worth while for them to pick it up.
