Is there a substitute for indian paprika?!

Question:

Is there a substitute for indian paprika?

Answers:
I′ve tried black pepper and tabasco sauce, only for emergencies. It is more or less the same.

Yes there is a substiture and it's Hungarian.

Yes. It's called 'Degi Mirch". It comes in a prepack little box. You can use it as a subtitute. It also tastes better than the regular peprika.
