Does diet coke make you not grow as tall?!

Question:

Does diet coke make you not grow as tall?

i asked another question about diet coke and people said it was bad for your bones or something like that. but will it make me not grow as much? and i read people saying yes and some saying no so does it really? if you answer yes or no are you really sure? i hate that some people were saying yes and some no so what is the real answer?

Answers:
i think that is true..because if you start a diet since an early age...
your system can not affort it...so it is better to gym yourself!!!!!!!!

I've heard this but i don't know the real answer....but i'll tell you this...i've never drank diet coke and i'm 5'2.....so guess i was just meant to be short lol

I never drank it and I'm 6'3'' The only way to tell for sure is get about 100 sets of twins measure them let one drink diet coke the other not and measure them 18 years later
but I doubt if it would make much difference

Diet coke or any coke drink has no effect on your growth, it would have to be the only thing feed to from birth to have a dramatic effect on your body.
Weight gain from sugar and teeth loss from sugar being the biggest problems.

The human body relies on proteins taken mainly from meat, fish, etc. . . . . to facilitate the growth period. . . . . which in most people is over by 18 - 20 years of age.

Also your genitic structure determines what height you will be, check what height people average at on both sides of your immediate family tree.

I don't think so, I've been drinking it for years, and the only thing I can say is, I'm taller then Tom Cruse.

it has phosphoric acid in it which is not good for your bones.
it robs your bones of the calcium they need to grow.
hope this helps.
