Honey nut cheerios?!

Question:

Honey nut cheerios?

i had some honey nut cheerios, w/ cut up strawberries in it w/ skim milk.

is that a healthy breakfast for someone trying to lose weight?

Answers:
Yes, cheerios have fiber which ups your metabolism and milk also has a diet effect according to recent research. Strawberries are great too. You get a lot of important nutrients and a bit of sweetness without going crazy with calories.

Good luck with your diet and weight loss.

WEll its ok but honeynut cheerios have quite a lot of sugar in.
Shredded wheat would have been better

I would say it depends on the serving size and the size bowl you had, as long as you go with the suggested serving size I would say definitely!! Sounds delicous!!

Regular cheerios would probably be better, but all in all it's not bad.

Any type of Cheerio is fairly good for a dieter as compared to most of the other cereal brands. Cheerios, fresh strawberries and a low fat milk is a very good breakfast. Compare to someone who eats some eggs and bacon in the morning...

Yes. I lost about 20 lbs in a couple months eating cereal and fruit in the morning, and a baked chicken salad with vinegar dressing for lunch, and steamed fish and vegetables for dinner. Just make sure you eat small snacks in between meals. That will help raise your metabolism.

those Cheerios are very sweet, maybe try special k with the strawberry's that's much healthier.

Well it is kinda. but there are healthier thinks to have for breakfast. When i was trying to lose weight I had a bowl of cut up apples some blueberries and cut up strawberries with some natural yoghurt. That coupled with healthy eating and not mixing starch and proteins in the same meal i lost 3 stone!

yes it is

thats a lot of sugar in there. regular cheerios r a better choice, the fruit is a good way to get the sweetness without the refined sugar. milk is great. sounds a lot better than a lot of breakfasts though, so u r doing well :)
