Can you recommend good beers to go with good food?
anything you like that goes with anything from seafood to pizza to steak to use your imagination. i'm not a wine person.

i love sierra nevada pale ale n a burger. a good thick irish stout (i love old number 38 stout, aka black hart stout at trader joes) is nice with a steak, or of course some nice lamb. carmel wheat beer is good in a bbq. humboldt nectar is as well. find anything from mendecino brewing company or from north coast brewery n its good. jut start tryin some new beers. find a place with a large selection and just start buyin a new one here n there
i like an amber, such as Alaskan Amber. but...if you want a very rich, full, tasty beer, try a Belguim ale such as Chimay. VERY good.
one of my favorite beers is Harp. Then there is Becks and Fosters

Steel reserve or Natural Ice.
In the summer, any hefeweizen (wheat beer) with a squirt of lemon is good. Personal preferences are King Ludwig (made by Kaltenberg) and Circus Boy (made by Magic Hat - this is just an ok one but easy to find).
