Rice Krispies-How Are They Made?!

Question:

Rice Krispies-How Are They Made?

In the advert Kelloggs tell you each Rice Krispie is made from a whole grain of rice!

But what is the process?

Thanks

Answers:
Puffed rice is usually made by heating rice kernels under high pressure in the presence of steam, though the method of manufacture varies from location to location. Puffed rice is used in snack foods and breakfast cereals

Have you asked Snap, Crackle & Pop? :-)

Very carefully.

-mel

deep fry some cooked rice and see what happens

well you get rice krispis cereal and marsmellows and then put tit in the stove and let it heat up and then put it i the frig

It's real simple...They are baked like Potato Chips, they can be deep fried, but they would have a higher fat content...therefore they are baked!
