Does anyone know why?!

Question:

Does anyone know why?

here goes-when we eat our supper and it taste yummy, then go back for a second it does not taste the same?

Answers:
It's the way the brain is signaling that we are no longer hungry.

because your palette grows "tired." weight loss specialists actually recommend that you eat the exact same thing for two meals of the day (i.e., oatmeal for breakfast & tuna sandwich for lunch *every* day) because you won't want to overeat those items after you're used to them. In fact, you end up eating less over time b/c you become so acclimated to the taste and you're not like, "mmm, that tastes good - I'll have some more."

Your stomach or brain is telling you that "you are satisfied, stop eating"

Hey speak for yourself (haha) I go back for seconds and it is still great.

maybe it's lost some heat, and not the same taste
maybe you are really hungry at the first helping, and don't really need the second plate, and hunger signals changed?!

Don't worry. Just save it as left-overs. Most things taste even better as left-overs. Like pizza or spaghetti or fried rice! ;)
