Question:

What food do you hate, but wish you loved?

i think seafood/sushi looks delicious, but they taste horrible to me!

Answers:
We eat at a really nice Chinese restaurant where we know the owner. At the end of the meal she presents fried bananas to us at no charge. Then she stands there til we eat them.I can only swallow them, there is something about a banana being hot.I can't stand them, but being polite,I eat them.YUCK....

bitter melon!

Beans. They are in so many things and look like a good side dish, but they are bad to me.

Brussel Sprouts, cause they are so good for you, but oh so yuccy tasting.

Onions and more vegetables.
I don not like most vegetables, that is bad.

celery...i hate it, it hates me...but if i could eat it, i'd snack on it all the time & be oh-so-thin!

Candy corn and beans, a weird mixture but totally a beauty restorer.

veggies!

idk... spaghetti my dad cooks it all the time but i hate it

salads but i just get turned off at the site of one. they look good with the chicken and all the meat on it but the lettuce makes me back off. i wanna eat healthy so salads should be something i'm eating..oh well

Onions and Lettuce

I wished that I liked curry and Indian food as I'm always missing out when friends go to an Indian restuarant!

olives and beets!
Yuck!...but so good for you!

vegetables

I wish I liked more veggies. I also wish I liked flavored potato chips. When we are at someones house grilling out I am always the odd ball and don't eat any chips because all they seem to have is BBQ-yuck or some other flavor........never plain for the plain girl. lol

peanut butter

I wish I really liked fish like tilapia, halibut, etc. since fish is supposed to be so good for you. Fish either tastes fishy or has no flavor to me. Perhaps my taste buds are abnormal!

Eggs you can do so much with them. My grandmother used to say if you've got an egg you've got a meal.

BANANAS! I've never liked them, but my mom and brother always ate them for snacks as a kid, and I always wanted to peel it for them! I would love to grab something like that when I'm hungry, but I can't stand the texture. My great-grandmother made this fantastic banana pudding, but I always had to pick out the chunks, and ended up accidentally chomping on one anyway. Yuck!

Vegetables!

I really wish I can like them because they are good for health. It can't help but I still cannot enjoy eating them!

Mushrooms!! I like the taste, but can't get past the texture.

I get picked on all the time for this one but it is coffee and donuts. Can't stand the smell or taste of either. Many people do not think I am an American because of it. They all tell me I couldn't be a cop either.
Everyone thinks it is pretty weird...

Mashed potatoes--hated the texture ever since I was a child!

I'm with you on seafood. Can't stand the taste, texture or smell of it but I wish I could...it's so healthy.

I despise the smell and taste of coffee, mint and lemon. I wish I liked them, but all three smell disgusting to me.

GARLIC!!! It is so healthy and so common but it NAUSEATES me ... even the smell!!!

This is a great question! I can think of several foods.

Avocado, because it looks pretty and my husband raves about it, but the mushiness gets to me.
Eggplant, again because it's pretty and my husband raves about it, but the texture is like eating a kitchen sponge
Seared ahi tuna - looks nice, and yes, husband raves about it, but the texture gives me the willies.

vegetable....
i hate it vegetable but i very wish it

Lobster probably, I'm from the east coast of Canada and everyone talks about how great our lobster/seafood is and I feel like i'm missing out.
