Do you know any good non-alcoholic cocktail recipes?!

Question:

Do you know any good non-alcoholic cocktail recipes?

I am on antibiotics for two weeks so I can't drink alcohol! I am going to a party at the weekend and would like some delicious non-alcoholic cocktail ideas so I don't feel as if I'm missing out. I like most flavours and ingredients.

Answers:
i ahve noo ideas lol not without the booze ne weya have u tried google searhcing for non alcoholic cocktails

I had a Dr.once who put me on such a routine, so I rebelled and changed doctors.

That recipy is about as much use as t.its on a bull.

Mix Ginger Ale with Cranberry Juice--Yummy:)

Many cocktails can be made without alcohol and taste quite nice. If you here someone order a cocktail "virgin" that means without alcohol.
So try your favorite without the booze.

ACAPULCO GOLD

Shake together six parts pineapple juice, one part grapefruit juice, two parts coconut cream, two parts fresh cream and a scoop of crushed ice. Serve unstrained.

ANITA

Shake together three parts orange juice, one part lemon juice and a couple of dashes of Angostura bitters. Top with soda water, garnish with fruit and serve with straws

CAPUCINE

Shake together one part peppermint cordial and four parts fresh cream. Strain and add crushed ice,. Finely grate a little plain chocolate over the top

CARDINAL PUNCH

Over ice cubes pour four parts cranberry juice, two parts orange juice, one part lemon juice and ginger ale to top up. Garnish with fruit and serve with straws

Try just Google-ing "fancy cocktail recipes". You'll be surprised what you will find. Just leave out the alcohol.

First of all, my condolences to you.

You can try plain ginger-ale with a few dashes of bitters.

Here's some interesting drinks, though some seem too much a bother

Try a Bloody Shame. All the ingredients of a Bloody Mary...minus the Vodka. Also known as a Virgin Mary but I prefer the first name.

ie:

Tomato Juice.
Celery Salt.
A stick of celery.
A dash of Tabasco.
A dash of Worcestershire Sauce.

You can also try my secret recipe which is to add a few drops of olive oil and lemon juice too..

Delicious.

Oh and put some ice in if you want. Some don't.

A garnish on any drink makes it a cocktail! A toothpick, a cherry, a piece of pineapple or orange and you've got a fun cocktail of milk, water, or soda.

My personal favorite is gingerale with raspberry sorbet or sherbert. Grenadine and 7-up is a Shirley Temple. Most mixed drinks also have 'virgin' variations.

do a pina colada without alchohol and punch both without the rum

simple.. go to the grocery and find the frozen juice section. You'll find frozen cans of Bacardi Margarita mix and Daquri mix. You just blend the concentrate with ice, and you have a frozen margarita.

SOO yummy.

try mixing cinnamon and soda ( lemon lime together ), that taste so good.

yes your local health centre or hospital can help you there but be warned the bar staff might eye you kinda strange like you come from mars or the atlas mountain range

Ginger-ale and grape-juice, half and half, plenty of ice and a sprig of mint. If you're dealing with a punch-bowl amount, make a tray of lemonade ice-cubes and substitute cranberry juice for the grape-juice... I once got trapped at a Baptist wedding reception and found myself scarfing up a punch that included globs of sherbet bobbing around in ginger-ale, pineapple juice & lemon soda...hint: put a big chunk of ice in the punch-bowl and mix the ingredients together before pouring into the bowl...sherbet globs go in at the last minute before the fray begins. Heal fast, kiddo!

I appreciate your problem, you can only drink so many fruit juices and it works out even more expensive than alcohol.
Try a Rock Shandy,South African drink, half lemonade, half soda with a dash of Angosduras Bitters (not sure about the spelling)

CARIB CREAM
1 small banana, chopped
1 measure lemon juice
1 measure milk
1 teaspoon finely chopped walnuts
Place the banana, lemon juice and milk in a blender with some crushed ice and blend on maximum speed until smooth. Pour into cocktail glass and sprinkle chopped walnuts on top just before serving.

TENDER BERRY
6 - 8 strawberries
1measure grenadine
1 measure double cream
1 measure dry ginger ale
little ground ginger
Place the strawberries, grenadine and cream into blender with some crushed ice blend on max for 30 seconds. Pour into a tumbler. Add the dry ginger and stir. Sprinkle a little ginger on top and decorate with a strawberry.

Hope these give you the boost you need. Enjoy.

I stopped drinking alcohol six months ago as it had become a bit of a problem! I missed the bitter taste as I don't have a sweet tooth, but found the following a good substitute:

Mixing elderflower cordial with tonic or perrier.
Any of the sparkling grape juice drinks that you can get from supermarkets.
Grapefruit juice with tonic or sparkling water.

Use a nice wine glass and you don't feel like you are missing out - plus you don't make an idiot of yourself, don't get a hangover, and get to see how silly drunken people act and to thank the Lord you are not one of them.
