Are asian carp edible?!

Are asian carp edible?

i have been catching 10-15 lb. asian bigheads and silver carp. i want to give them to some friends but i don't know if they are edible.


Answers:
They're edible, but pretty bony.
I have heard they are used for soup OR boiling into fish stock.
Too many bones otherwise.
But YES eatable
