You must be joking ! How? ... can you relate sweet potatoes and coffee. One is a tuber and the other a bean. Is someone sending you on the proverbial "Wild Goose Chase"?
Yes.
First cut it up into 1/2" pieces.
Bake the pieces at 400 degrees for 2 hours.
Now you can grind the pieces in a coffe grinder.
P.S. The coffe will be fairly weak so you should grind it extra fine to get more flavor out of it.
