Why does chocolate Nesquik powder not disolve properly...?!

Question:

Why does chocolate Nesquik powder not disolve properly...?

....while the banana and strawberry flavour ones do?

It's an enigma. Do you think Oxford University would give me a £2m grant to study this strange phenomena?

Answers:
Chocolate Nesquik dissolves poorly because it has more sugar in it to cover the bitter cocoa taste.

Best trick is to add a few tablespoons of warm milk to the power and crush and stir to make a paste.

Then add the rest of the milk.

cold powder into cold milk = lumps ... cold chocolate bad
warm chocolate good
:-)

If they do can I please be your assistant? :-)

I totally agree, I buy the magic straws for the kids now, because the moaning of the lumpy bits chuffed me off! However the powder is a fraction of the price of the straws so I would willingly support your decision for a study into this madness.

Go for it!

it is the chocolate flavoured chemicals that just wont disolve .. instead of oxford uni try asking the lottery for a grant you never know

The powder is denser than the other ones.... duh!

There you go Oxford!

Just finished beating some into submission for my daughter when I saw your question. I can't exactly give you answer but I can tell you that when the container is first opened the powder dissolves much more easily than when it is a few months old. This is why I always buy the smaller pack even though this works out more expensive. It does say somewhere on the pack to try shaking it up before you open it.

All the sugar the is in it

it's the milk, not the chocolate, it is the milks fault!! I already studied this. case closed. =)

very possibly...but i think it would only take 30minutes to figure it out...and the reason the chocolate doesn't dissolve as fast or easily is because its actually a ground up bean or cocoa powder...vs the other flavors which are only sugar and artificial flavors(chemicals)

i dont know, maybe you need to stir it more? thats what i do!
