Are you all aware that cocaine is not always vegan?!

Question:

Are you all aware that cocaine is not always vegan?

A common ingredient in cocaine powder is lactose. Just thought you vegans would like to know that.

Answers:
If you're snorting cocaine you have bigger problems than worrying about the animal ingredients I would think.

What! No..............I thought snorting all that coke those years and killing all those people made me a justified vegan. Oh well. Guess I'll go chain myself to a cow now.

what are you doing with coke in the first place that you know that!!?! What's wrong w/ u!?!

It's true.

And whoever said that there's only three things used to cut cocaine is sadly mistaken. All sorts of crap can be used, some better than others. The more naive the clientèle (and the more desperate the vendor), the odder the cutting agents you'll find.

Awww That's nice, I like to see more and more uses for our animal friends.

Hamburgers on the grill, sitting next to a nice toasty hot dog, and a happy person in the corner doing a line of animal based cocaine.

Truly a cycle! Three cheers for the animals!

Gee, thanks. That was a big concern for me....now I'll make sure all of my dealers use only the finest vegan ingredients. FYI...cokeheads are giant losers, I don't care what they eat.

haha um well I'm glad I don't do drugs.

i'm pretty sure it passed through my system by now, it's been a long long time ago!

was that supposed to be, like... an insult?

most vegans i know are so health conscious they don't even take an aspirin, let alone narcotics like cocaine.

Why would we like to know that? Oh, that's right, because all vegans must be whacked out hippies. Ooops, all the drugs must be affecting my memory.

*whew* glad i denied that coke at the last protest i went to.

just kidding ;)

Cocaine is most often cut with corn starch, vitamin c powder, sugar, talcum powder, Italian baby milk powder or local anesthetic (to simulate the numbing feeling). Fear-mongers peddle the myth that coke is regularly cut with anthrax, bleach or strychnine. Frankly, this is bollocks.
