it's amazing ice cream. i like thier peanut/chocolate covered ice cream bar. yummy!
Haagen Dazs is a heavy cream based Ice cream, with 50% less whipped air than most. Its strategic market is geared to the high end market.
The words "Haagen Dazs" don't mean anything.
Haagen Dazs used to be called "Bronx" ice cream. For some reason, they weren't selling - so they came up with a new marketing plan. They changed the name to Haagen Dazs and raised their prices. Their European sounding product sold like crazy!
(I don't know if the Haagen Dazs company would make this info public.)
