Who is your favorite celebrity chef and why?
Mine is Jamie Oliver. I love that he keeps everything he makes simple and as fresh as possible. He grows his own produce and is dedicated to teaching others how to cook healthy, tasty and wholesome food. Plus he's just so darn cute!

Alton "A.B." Brown. He is so retro groovy and his show is such a blast with all the crazy costumes and characters. His recipes are always good and he's such a great teacher.

The blonde guy, on the show Take Home Chef! I can't remember his name,but he sure is cute.
I like almost all of the celebrity chefs, but I think my favorite is Paula Dean. She's just so cute and seems like a down to earth kind of lady. And she cooks good, fattening Southern food.
I agree with some of the others, though, about Curtis on Take Home Chef. Even though he's gorgeous, he seems like a really sweet guy.
i like paula deen, i love homecooking and she has really good recipes that my kids and husband will acually eat.

Rachel Ray, everything she cooks is simple and smart. Also practical and healthy. And her cooking style is similar to me. I
I like them all but Paula Deen is my absolute favorite.
She has really simple Southern cooking recipes.
I usually have most of the ingredient needed in my kitchen for a lot of her recipes. They are usually not as pricey(but believe me very tasty) as some of the other cooks. Plus her son's are adorable, love it when they are on the show.
Cajun chef Justin Wilson, used to watch him on PBS. But he's dead now.
Giada Delaurentis is amazing. She is gorgeous, smart, and can cook almost anything. She is always experimenting with new kinds of food.
Definitely Alton Brown and Paula Dean~! I also really like that guy from that one show...uhm...he ...yeah, well, I like him, too~!
I like all the celebrity chefs we get on Food TV in New Zealand - a good mix of US and British shows. I think my favorite show is hosted by Ainsley Harriott (a chef himself) on Ready, Steady, Cook. 2 guest chefs have to cook different dishes from a bag of unknown foods in 20 minutes. Alto of the guest chefs have TV shows of their own. Lots of fun and gives you ideas about what you can cook at home when your pantry appears to be empty.
I guess I'm partial to Paula Deen. Her taste buds are different than mine. I tried the cheeseburger meatloaf. She gave it an mm ! mm! good. I didn't care for it at all. It's not so much the recipes, as it is her performance for her show. I would like to visit her restaurant some day.
Jamie is my fave too, not just for the food, but also for all of his amazing work with kids.
I also really like Barefoot contessa and Nigella Lawson. I notice that every time I use one of a Barefoot Contessa recipe, people rave about it.
