Try 2 &1/2 standard coffee scoops for 10 cup pot. This is a good amount to start with. Adjust it as you need to,if at all. Hope this helps.

Many community colleges offer courses in "coffee making", "toast making", "utensil using", etc....
I suggest you check one of these courses out...
Hope this helped and good luck!!!

If you want to know how to operate the coffee pot, it depends on what kind you have. Drip? Percolator? Coffee Press? If you want to know how much coffee to use, that's a matter of personal choice. Some people like it stronger than others. Start with the directions on the coffee container (bag or can). If it's too weak, try more next time you make it. Pretty soon, you'll be able to tell by the level of coffee in the filter and will be able to just pour it instead of measuring.

Read the instructions that came with it. If you don't have that, contact the manufacturer. Look up the name in Google if you need help.

Note: I make terrible coffee so I leave the task to my husband. He has the knack.

you scoup the coffee into a filter, then you place the filter inside of the holder and slide that in. then u usually fill the pot with water and pour that into the top of the coffee maker where it goes into the filter. You press the on button and it makes the coffee. Depending on how strong and how flavorful you want your coffee should determine how much water and coffee grinds you put into the filter. For example if you want only a few cups only pour water that will equal to that amount. If you want strong coffee you can do a double scoup or you can do less water with a regular scoup. Hope that helps.

You usually put a filter in the front bucket-shaped thing, and then fill it with the appropriate amount of coffee. Then you pour the appropriate amount of cold water into the back compartment. Then you press "start". That's it.

what type of coffee maker do you have?
If I knew I would help you as I love to drink coffee.
