Is sushi a "comfort food"?!

Question:

Is sushi a "comfort food"?

Answers: I guess it can be. Comfort foods are usually warm and starchy, like mashed potato, mac and cheese, or a creamy soup. Soothing and comforting. If you feel comforted by sushi, then it's your comfort food. If you feel happy then it can be comfort food. Just watch you dont get an allergic reaction...my friend did and it want to comforting to him........... it depends on the person.
if you really like it and it makes you happy, then sure..it can be a comfort food.
:] Yes, for Japanese people it is a comfort food. . .because it is not too expensive, it's delicious and you usually don't have to make it yourself. You could go to a sushiya or just buy some at the grocery store.
Most Japanese food is both comforting AND healthy--which is why Japanese people are much healthier than Americans! Think about it--what if the food you craved were 100% healthy. . .what you want to have is exactly what you should have. Could that be the definition of happiness. . .? It can be because it's quite filling to the stomach. But only for people who like raw fish. Oh oh oh oh yeah! Walking around Seattle one day, I stopped inside a great Japanese grocery store that had a little restaurant area in the back and had some sushi. Maybe the best meal I ever had. I felt like $1,000,000! I eat sushi whenever I can and never tire of it. Crave it a lot!! I would say that any food would be considered "comfort food" if you really liked it. I think the food out Mom's made us always
are comfort foods too.
