Answers: clearly, the best mexican restaurant ever is in Mexico somewhere...but if you meant in the U.S. try Rick Bayless' restaurants, Frontera Grill &Topolobampo, they are right next door to each other in Chicago so you can go to both. they are both excellent and Bayless is universally recognized as the best Authentic Mexican Chef in the U.S....(he lived and travelled throughout Mexico for over a decade) El Taco Vomitar Grande' in Houston Texas Mi Tierra rest in San Antonio. MMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm Border Cafe in Harvard Square, Cambridge, MA.
Great margaritas. La Senorita in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Used to be El Chico in Tallahassee, Florida, but it closed. The masses don't like good Mexican food. Mickey's located in the old port in Puerto Penasco (aka Rocky Point), Mexico. Del Taco my grandma's house!

Don Jose! in southern caifornia. kinko's in hutchinson, ks. really unique & delicious. however i don't think it' quite good enough to subject ones self to kansas; especially if you have to go through oklahoma to get there. i'm usually so nice on here. now i've p****d off two entire states. oh well, make it 3, with wyoming. The best mexican restaurants are usually not chain restaurants. The best mexican food can usually be found in local places owned and operated by hispanic individuals. There is one downtown but I prefer Taco Time. I hate Taco Bell. The cheese isn't real. I like the way the Filipinos cook better than white trash. On the Border - Indianapolis IN In the city of Alameda, Ca there is this family owned place called Alcapulco. (On Lincoln Ave at Willow St.) It's not part of a chain. The food is fantastic! Lalo′s Mexican restaurant in Chicago And Monterrey Mexican Restaurant in South Carolina.. ( every time i go home to Chicago i go straight to Lalo′s and in South Carolina when i visit my sister, I go To Monterrey′s .. They are both sooooooooooooooo good)... I couldn't′t pick just one! Bcn_mimosa from Barcelona, Spain La Pi?ata is pretty good there is Locations all over the San Francisco Bay Area, There is one in Alameda, Hayward, San Leandro Newark, and concord. I go there all the time to celebrate birthdays and to just eat there. I don't know if it's the best though, best I have been to, so far Arturo's Pheonix, Arizona That would be Mi Tierra in San Antonio, Texas. There are alot of very good Mexican Restaurants here.
