In need of chicken mandi recipe?

I have been looking all over for a chicken mandi recipe. I am having trouble finding any what so ever. This is an Arabic recipe. Usually this is cooked outside but I am wanting to cook it inside and their are recipes somewhere for that. Please help.. thanks

whole chicken with flesh
tomato:1
onions:2
crushed cardamom seeds: 8 cardamoms
cinnamon sticks:3 small
Black pepper:5
White Rice Seasoning:7
Cumin:half teaspoon
Green chilli's chopped: Require to taste
Salt: According to taste
Boiled eggs:3
hayat or any ghee:5 tb sp

Preparation:


In a pan add 8 cups of water, add 7 cups white rice and seasonging and bring to boil. When the water gets boiling add the whole chicken and boil for 15 mins then remove it from the water and bake in the oven at very low temp for one and half hours.while the chicken is in the oven in the mean time cut the onions green chillies and tomatoes round in shape .in a frying pan add ghee and fry onions This recipe is a modification from some recipes in Arabic. It tasted really good, even he claimed it as: The best Mandi I've ever ate in Germany.


Ingredients:
5 chicken thighs, cut into 2 pieces with skin on
1 tsp ground cumin
Juice from ? of lemon
1 tsp vinegar
2? cups of Basmati rice (long grain rice)
4 tbsp raisins
1 onion (cut into 2 pieces)
1 cinnamon stick
1 bay leave, shreds
2 cups of water

Spices, grind/puree:
4 cloves garlic
1 tsp ground coriander
1 tsp fresh black pepper
1 knucklebone* ginger
1 knucklebone galangal
7 cardamons
1 tsp ground curcuma
1 tsp salt
1 block of chicken broth
Sugar to taste

Directions:
1. Marinate chicken with cumin, lemon juice and vinegar for 10 menit. Clean.
2. Mix ground spices with 2 cups of water inside a big pan. Add chicken, cinnamon stick, and half of onion, bay leave and sugar as desired, then boil. After boiling, reduce the heat and simmer it for 20 minutes. Remove from the heat.
3. Put the chicken in a baking dish (greased with margarine). Bake until the color change or cooked or as desire.
4. Chop the rest of onion. Sauté until fragrant and smell.
5. Mix rice with onion and chicken broth (water from boiling chicken). Cover with aluminum foil. Simmer with very low heat for 20 minutes or until rice is cooked. Set aside.
6. Sauté raisins for 5 minutes. Set aside.
7. Serve rice and garnish with chicken and raisins. This should help you dear.
