Question:

I ve heard russians eat something called sala , Raw Pig Meat is this Ok ?

Answers:

The right spelling is Salo (not sala), but it is pronounced as "sala". Salo is not meat - it is high compressed and salty pig fat. Usually it is covered by red or black pepper. This is not dangerous to eat because salt kills all the bacteria may have been inside the fat. But if you eat it too much - salo may be dangerous for liver and stomach (fat is very hard food). Yes, russians eat salo but it is not russian food. It is Ukrainian one.
