Where in the uk is the best indian curry house?!

Question:

Where in the uk is the best indian curry house?

i go to southall a place called roxys its run by indians, its home cooking what say you, where would go for a curry and what do you have there.

Answers:

if your in Southall ...try going right to the other end...I know Roxys and they are goods but
World Baliti restuarant is better and take cash to pay...
..there better because they do tandoori oven chicken, fish and naan right in the restaurant and there baltis are very good...
I recommends you try some of the vegetarian (Mattar Paneer - which is cheese and peas or even the baked aubergines) This restaurant has only Indian food on it so its not like your average takeaway or anglo indian restaurant which has Chicken Korma and Vindaloo as such and there is really good choice...
...its surrounded by Karahi restaurants but they are actually more expensive and not that good ...for instance I ordered vegetable biryani and they gave me carrots and cauliflower in a fried rice and this isnt biriyani but I paid even more than what I would at the Balti restaurant...

World Balti Restaurant is in the new broadway on the left hadn side.. if your coming from hayes then its on your right as you enter Southall

Karen h - I agree with you in that there is not a best restaurant and there are so many good ones...it isnt racist because 9/10 restaurants I have been to are staffed by people who know the food and worked in the industry in these chains and they are cheap...Spainish, Greek, Indian, Chinese and English...I would be very surprised to goto an English Restaurant and find Indian waiting staff and if they are there its because they are cheap...
