What is this dish?!

Question:

What is this dish?

It is an Indian dish. More like a fried bread. Relatively thick - not like the puri's you get in indian restaurants.

Answers:

When you say it is thicker than a puri, I guess that the other dimensions are the same.

Bhatura is usually bigger in size, so I would rule that out. It could be either of the two items predominantly prepared by the Maharashtrians in India.

Tavsale - Prepared using flour mixed with cooked pumpkin.
Vada - A favorite amongst the costal maharashtrians. When served with chicken or lamb curry, it is awsome.
