What food is actually AMERICAN?
My friend and I were thinking about this the other day I always thought that hamburgers and hotdogs were american foods but she says they're German. And then I thought maybe apple pie but wouldn't that already been created in England? Anyone actually know a traditional american food?

tomatoes are native, as well as cranberries and corn, just to mention a few! Of course the native Americans had quite a few dishes, one that comes to mind is pemmican
