Mustard question?

what exactly is "prepared mustard"? I need it for a beef marinade and i want to know if there is a difference between that and regular, spicy brown mustard or just regular mustard!

Yes prepared mustard is the yellow kind. You can use either in some recipes but not all so I guess it depends what you are making. In a salad I don't think the brown mustard will work. If you don't have any you can substitute dry mustard for the prepared..about a 1/4 teaspoon for a teaspoon of of regular prepared is the usual measurement. Hope this helps.
