pico de gallo in spanish means rooster's beak, is made with onions tomatoes, cilantro ,chiles,lime juice, also can be add; guacamole, cucumber, etc.., also in Mexico a fruit salad made with chiles and ime is called pico de gallo , some say the name come from the shape of a chile, or some say the heat from the chiles makes one tongue feel as been pecked by a rooster, it has many stories about the name of this relish
