The Department of Health (DOH) prohibits the public in buying food products from China. According to Health Secretary Francisco Duque III, the said products have the possibility of affecting the health of individuals. It is known that almost 200 factories were forced to be closed because of using prohibited chemicals on their products.

Duque advised to check on the products and make sure that it has the Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD) mark before buying it. For him, it is not everyone's health that should be gambled this time since health is wealth.
