What are the differences between Korean and Chinese cuisine?!

Question:

What are the differences between Korean and Chinese cuisine?

What is your favorite Korean dish?

Answers:

Korean cuisine is quite distinct.
It does share similarities with some Chinese foods- mainly northern & Mongolian, and some Japanese influences, probably adopted while Japan conquered, ruled and controlled Korea for many years.

Some of the "hot-pots", stews and spareribs & BBQ remind me of some Chinese dishes. But Koreans aren't known as "the garlic eaters" for no reason! They tend to use much more garlic, and have a love for the use of the sticky rich red bean paste condiment in much of their cooking. They are renowned for making some of the best noodles and dumplings. Many sticky, chewy rice dishes/ concoctions which are unique to Korea , and of course kimchee , seem to set them apart.

Do I have to choose only 1 favourite?! LOL
I love chap chae ( a fried clear noodle dish), bulgogi (BBQ beef) and seaweed soup
