Asian children smart because they learn how to use chopsticks at an early age?!

Question:

Asian children smart because they learn how to use chopsticks at an early age?

i heard that a long time ago but i doubt its true...but i guess in a way it makes some sense since chopsticks are alot harder for a young child to use compared to a fork and knife. your thoughts?

i remember when i was growing up learning how to use chop sticks were SOOO F***ING HARD! its much harder then stabbing your food with a fork...you have to pick the food up with sticks..when i was eating i would always hope my mom would bring me a fork instead of chopsticks. much harder for a child....so i dont know about people that say its easy learning how to use chopsticks but believe me...for a child its very diffucult!

Answers:

actually kids in asian countries, at least in korea, dont use chopsticks. they use forks until they are old enuff to learn how to use chopsticks.

but anyways, the reason asian children tend to be smarter is because education is always put first in asian families and the parents push them much harder than parents of other nationalities and races would becuz its the culture
