Question:

Do you have a recipe for stir-fried Chinese cabbage?

Chinese Cabbage, also known as Napa, I'd like a versatile stir-fry recipe that uses a fair amount of Chinese cabbage and other vegetables.

Answers:

I love to stir fry it with lots of garlic, white/shiitake or both mushrooms a bit of chili and a dash of sugar, finish it with sliced green onions. I will eat this alone over plain boiled rice or with some roast pork from my local Chinese BBQ place.

When you chop it, keep it reasonably good size pieces to cook it but still have some slight crunch, not raw but a bit of a bite, I also season it with sesame oil and the usual salt and pepper, if you want the spiciness of the chili can be left out, I just like it hot, and use a chinese chili garlic paste somes. If you are into peanuts, there is a spicy peanut sauce at some Asian stores, even a touch of curry is nice.
