Have you ever used a grain called quinoa?

What do you know about it? How do you fix it?

Firt , QUINOA IS NOT MEXICAN !!
Aztec or Mayan, Quinoa is From the Andes in Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador!
Quinoa is a super nutritious food. It's not only packed with fiber, calcium, iron, magnesium and phosphorous, it is a complete protein. That means it contains all of the essential amino acids humans need. And quinoa is gluten-free, making it an ideal food for people with food allergies
Although you cook quinoa just like rice, but you need to rinse it several times.
I personally let it sit in cold water for 10 minutes, then rinse 3 to 4 times , I like to cook risotto using quinua , quinoa flan and pudin are great desserts and quinoa can be also used as a side for any dish.
Mom use to make a dish with quinoa,milk , butter and cream with a similar consistence of mash potatoes that was my favorite.
