There are a whole lot of ingredients that may cantain pork or its by products that are not labeled"pork".
Alot of vitamins have pork by products, either by including gelatin as a protective coating or the sources they use to derive the vitamins may be pork.
Cheese may have pork by products, enzymes used to make the cheese i.e. pepsin can be a pork derivative.
L cysteine may be added to baked goods and other things, which may be derived from sources that are haram.
Certain gum may have glycerine derived from pork in their gum base, which would make it haram. Contrary to popular belief not all kosher gelatin is halal.
Some muslims dont understand that it isnt so white and black. Companies use many products and by products and label them a technical name, and unless you call the company and ask their source, you will never know.
Ahmad Sakr makes a wonderful book that helped me alot, its called a muslim guide to food...
