How can I reduce heat in a curry I have made?!

Question:

How can I reduce heat in a curry I have made?

I follow a recipe in a curry book and the curry is just too strong to eat. I have added coconut milk to make it more 'manageable' but wonder if there is another way I can 'rescue' it without having to throw it away. Thanks

Answers:

you shouldnt put more coconut milk than asked because it can ruin the taste. did u use curry powder? becasue curry powder itself is pretty strong but if u just used a curry paste just add more water to make it less like gooey and more watery it can make the taste bland so just add salt. but since ur worried about the heat dont add the chili peppers if the recipe asked u to. =)
