While I was in Panama, I was able to eat a snack of mangos that you buy in a bag that are very tart. They have vinegar salt and pepper, I think? Does anyone know what these were called and how to make them?

It's mango salad. You start by getting unripened mangoes (they are really green and hard) peel them cut them up in chunks, put them in a bowl with salt, pepper, and distilled white vinegar. Let the mixture marinate in the fridge for about an hour or 2 and enjoy....
